The main point of me having this blog is to have a venue where I can freely post my fucked up life without any "repercussions". I am but a lowly 1L... but can't the judge order a party accept a settlement? Seems like $12,000 was MORE than fair. I've tried to forget as much of my civil procedure class as possible, but there's got to be something in rule 11 that should put an end to this nonsense.
